How We Meet Your Expectations
JML Construction Services is a licensed and insured General Contractor experienced with kitchen renovations from minor improvements to complete gut jobs. JML can handle all required permitting and works with our client’s defining the scope of the
renovation and the associated cost. Our process is to spend the time necessary upfront exploring options on materials, layout, and equally important desired functionality of the kitchen. To achieve that goal, we will spend time with our client reviewing the features of the kitchen so we understand the Client’s vision and can capture that in a well-defined scope of work that we can then price out. Below is a list of the type of items we discuss with the Client in scope development:
Functionality
- Discuss cooking styles, entertaining, size of family to "right size" the kitchen and its functionality (amount of countertop space for instance) - Decide how much storage space is needed for both food and cooking utensils: this will help drive the number of cabinets, size, drawers etc.
Islands
- With /without prep sink(s) - With/without dishwasher - Garbage disposer for sink(s) - Electrical outlets - Integrated bookshelf on end(s) for cookbooks - Designed for cooking/food prep only or both pls eating at the counter.
Custom Countertops
- Manufactured stone - Natural stone - Corian - Stainless steel - Concrete - Butcher block - Integrated cutting board (for instance on stone tops) - Matching/contrasting backsplash - Waterfall ends
Flooring
- Tile (standard or large format) - Natural wood - Engineered wood - Laminate - Vinyl (planking/waterproof “LVT”)
New Sinks
- Farmhouse/apron - Soapstone - Stainless steel - Porcelain (colors) - With disposer (using an air switch) - Single or double bowl
